Destroy and Rebuild

Surely the deconstruction process of man made things can be just as educational as the construction process. Mechanics in both the auto and computer industries spend countless hours manually destroying and rebuilding assemblies.
This is a craft that usually goes unseen and most consumers of automobiles and personal computers hardly get a clear visualization of the in-depth process in retrofitting mechanical systems.

Retrofitting refers to the addition of new technology or features to older systems.

Chris Herridge buys a stripped down engine off eBay with the goal to replace his existing engine for his Triumph Spitfire Mk3. Using Adobe Premiere and snapping over 3000 photos on his DSLR, Chris manages to captivate the destroy and rebuild process masterfully.
